@candinski sorry bit late on comments but i would like to say that all of you are racist, none of you have any idea or for tht matter care that raids like this and warrants take place every week in all of our townships shabeens and drug dens, some times under dangerous conditions for police involved. they are trained to take all opperations serious and with out feeling. this is to maintain the eliment of surpsize and momentem to exicute such a raid.

We liberal students in Stellenbosch also got harrassed by the police on a regular basis (Apartheid protests, dagga, etc.) in the 80′, 90′. Sad to see that nothing has changed. It´s not so much a case of racism or “applying the law;” than cops being resentful of students for their intellectual superiority and using any opportunity to show them a thing or two. Fok die pote.
