An insight into why the best athletes in the world and Specialized South Africa chose Stellenbosch as a base.

Starting from 7 June 2010 – 9 July 2010, students from all different places (Canada, Hong Kong, Itally, Norway, and the USA) flew into South Africa to participate in the Summer/Winter School with other South African and African students at Stellenbosch University. This was definitely a special time to be in South Africa as it was the host of both the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Rugby World Cup. Some of the places in this video includes Stellenbosch, Cape Town, Swellendam, and different points of the Garden Route Tour. ENJOY!

The Stellenbosch Wine Route is arguably the country’s most famous, and the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin area includes 106 cellars. Enjoy a long day’s wine tasting buying and taste the South African way of life. The University of Stellenbosch, Maties, has produced many of the country’s great sporting heroes, including more than 155 rugby Springboks. Stellenbosch also offers the visitor almost every outdoor activity one could desire, from world-class sports facilities to popular mountain bike routes and great golf courses.
