A video piece for my Masters in Fine Arts exhibition at the US Gallery, Stellenbosch (SA) in 2012.

The Monmouth University men’s soccer team took on Hope Academy, a team from Drakenstein Prison, which is the same prison that Nelson Mendela was released. The team then went to have have an African meal at Stellenbosch. Day six of the South African tour is all right here!

Video taken by Sumbandila satellite on 13 Oct 2009 (orbit height = 500km). The analog PAL signal is transmitted in real time over S-band to the ground station in Stellenbosch (South Africa). The video motion reflects the true ground speed of the satellite as it circumvents Earth. I was asked by my Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management lecturer at Stellenbosch University to present a 5 minute lesson on team-based structures to the class. Instead I decided to write and song and film a music video and present that to the class.
